Stefan Baraud, owner of Baraud Development is Caymanian born, educated in Canada and the US. A graduate of Eckerd College, B.S. International Business. Stefan was a former professional cyclist who represented the Cayman Islands on the world stage at many international events including the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona and 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta and was awarded Cayman Islands Sportsman of the year following in 1998.

As a young man, his passion for business sparked his entrepreneurial spirit owning and operating several local businesses throughout the years. Stefan was also appointed as past chairman of the Cayman Islands Port Authority.

Stefan’s property development career has spanned almost two decades, positioning Baraud Development as one of the island's largest, most recognized names in luxury real estate development with incredible ROIs.

Christyna grew up in Western Canada between the beautiful rookies of Alberta and the West Coast of British Columbia. Growing up as a competitive athlete in dance and martial arts, she developed an strong work ethic and drive. By the age of 18 she was first introduced to the world of marketing through brand ambassadorship. Over the coming years she realized she could combine her creativity with her nack for organization completed the Marketing Management program at BCIT at the top of her class. 

In 2010 Christyna played a key role in the marketing and events team for one of the Vancouver Olympics key sponsors, which propelled. By the age of 25 she moved to Grand Cayman for the first time and continued her career in events, growing her passion and expertise in systemic operations in customer service, marketing and sales.

Christyna took on a leadership role at Baraud Development in January of 2021, with the responsibility of directing strategies and achieving the key performance indicators of the business. Along with managing all of our New Development Sales, she is instrumental in managing our overall operations, marketing, community relations and client services within Baraud Development.

Born and raised in Kenya, Val's love for travel brought her to our beautiful Islands.

With over 10 years in finance, Val holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Finance (BCom) from KCA University. She continued her studies at Regional Centre of Management and attained CPA status, an associate member of ICPAK. Throughout her career, Val has developed a passion for creating and implementing efficient systems and policies for business owners.
